Dr. Brian Rowley
Brian Rowley, O.D., grew up in a large family in Richfield, UT. He has been in interested in optometry ever since the day, as a young teen, he put on a pair of prescription glasses for the first time and saw what he had been missing! He went on to receive degrees from Snow College, BYU, and then his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR in 2002.
Dr. Rowley purchased a small optometry practice in 2004, named it Apple Valley Vision and has been caring for patients in the Payson/Santaquin area ever since. He has extensive experience in family eye care, including diabetic eye care, red eyes, glaucoma treatment, dry eye management, computer vision problem-solving, contact lens fitting, eye surgery co-management, low vision services, pediatric exams (he’s great with kids!), and eye emergencies.
Dr. Rowley is Utah State licensed and national board certified to administer ocular pharmaceutical agents and to perform minor optometric surgical procedures. His training and experience allow him to diagnose, treat, and manage or co-manage all eye conditions. He works closely with many local eye specialists to ensure that his patients get the best care available.
Dr. Steven Blake
Steven Blake, O.D., was born and raised in Richfield, Utah where he graduated from Richfield High School. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Southern Utah University in 2012 and his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 2016.
While a student at Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Blake completed internships at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City, and Child and Family EyeCare Center in Pleasant Grove. He is very comfortable with managing all eye problems including cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and dry eye disease. He specializes in fitting Scleral Contact Lenses for Keratoconus and other corneal diseases.
Dr. Blake is an active member of the Utah Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and an associate of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD). He has a passion for Vision Therapy to treat patients of all ages, specializing in the areas of pediatric care, vision development, binocular vision, visual information processing, concussion vision rehabilitation, and sports vision training.
Dr. Blake currently serves as a member of the team at the Concussion Clinic Center of Excellence within the sports medicine division of the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, managing vision problems associated with concussions, including vision rehabilitation for Post Concussion Syndrome.
